Tailored Support for Children’s Development

1:1 Child Support Sessions
I work directly with children on a one-to-one basis, supporting communication, interaction, emotional regulation and independence through play-based and meaningful activities.
Sessions are carefully planned to:
Support individual targets set by SALT or OT
Build skills through repetition and consistency
Use the child’s interests to promote engagement
Support confidence and emotional wellbeing
Sessions can take place:
In the family home
In early years settings
In primary schools, including mainstream classrooms and specialist base units

Home-Based Support
Home-based support is available where this is the most appropriate option for the child and family.
Sessions are delivered on a 1:1 basis and are tailored to the child’s individual needs, focusing on areas such as communication, confidence, attention and early learning skills. Support is planned carefully to ensure it complements any provision already in place within educational settings, where applicable.
Home-based support may be particularly helpful for children who benefit from a familiar environment or who are not currently accessing school-based provision.
